ABOUT

Jonathan primarily works as a bodyguard and works part-time as a model. He has family ties to an organization called SCORPIO, they are primarily employers for a variety of supernaturals and offer their agents with specific skill sets up as services to be paid for, though he is not employed by them himself as he has currently not accepted the offer to join. Much to Vincent's irritation since he would like to have a family of trusted hyenas under his thumb like he's collecting chess pieces.

He is incredibly patient given the type of job that he has, always doing his best to be on task or offer a voice in reason depending of the situation. Being the current youngest of the family, he's used to be being constantly shown affection by his family and the center of most worry given his injury. He has a tendency to get very attached to certain people very quickly and would do anything to protect or comfort them.

Jonathan is skilled in hand to hand combat; specifically Krav Maga and Nova Scrimia. He is trained in a variety of firearms; usually keeping a handgun and a few knives on him while he works even if he preferred using his claws. He has basic medical training as well.

Perhaps his most noticeable feature besides the strange coloration of his eyes is the claw marks that go across his neck. He underestimated another guard while on a job, which didn't take lightly to him ignoring their wants for conversation and taunts thus lashing out. That guard has since been put on leave for an evaluation of their behavior but the attack left Jonathan with Aphonia - the inability to produce any voice due to the damage caused by the injury. His body tried to heal the damage as quickly as possible but to no avail, whatever substance that lingered on the guard's claws permanently damaged the nerves.

Since the injury was a recent occurrence, he hasn't had the time to learn ASL, instead he uses his phone to communicate via text and the use of the memo pad. ( Much like Celty from Durarara!! ) He's very expressive with his body language and his facial expressions to try to get his point across in the mean time.

Jonathan currently lives alone in an apartment, not far from his family's house or his sister's studios. He lives with his two lovebirds, Kiwi and Beau, which he adores and gives them complete free reign from their cage when he's home. There are a few instances that he takes them out in public to give them a break from being cooped up at home.

Given his nature as a Werehyena, he has enhanced senses, healing, strength and agility. He's capable of partial and full shifts and doesn't follow moon cycles like werewolves do. He can't change anyone into a Werehyena by biting them. If he's turned on or loses his hold on his concentration, he might partially shift, ie: claws or fangs. His eye color shifts to orange while in this form instead of his normal blue.

In his OU verse, he is primarily employed by the Genovese family, a mafia vampire family headed by Holly ( bestservedinpink / mobprincess) after her family was murdered by another rival family. He thinks of her as a little sister and would die for her if it ever came to that.

HISTORY

Jonathan comes from a loving and strict family consisting of pureblood werehyenas, with 2 older sisters and 2 older brothers. He is the youngest sibling with one of his mothers currently expecting another. His parents are in a quad-poly relationship and have been together for a number of years. His father, Matthew and his mother, Sayre are directors of SCORPIO's Bodyguard division, with his older brothers following suit as that being their occupation. His other father, Mihail is a well-known fashion designer and his other mother, Nyra is a famous professional photographer, with his sisters following suit in those occupational directions.

He grew up as normal as a supernatural kid can, living amongst humans, he had to learn not to let his werehyena traits be noticed. Supernaturals weren't completely known and live in hiding, co-existing despite the usual tell-tale trait of their unusual eye color combinations. School in his younger ears were a bit difficult due to his lack of shifting control when he got overly excited which cause some kids to pick on him or cause people to be afraid of him. He gets playfully picked on by his older siblings but he loves them and easily banters back. He was a good student through his years of schooling, following a path to a degree in horology with a passion specifically in antiquarian horology. When he has the time outside of work, he'll work on a few projects here and there.

He was given free reign of what he wanted to do in life but chose to be both a bodyguard and a model to be closer to his family. His sisters dote on him when he comes to model their newest work when he has the free time and has gain quite the following from their fans.

Jonathan visits SCORPIO HQ as frequently as he can due to half of his family working there so he does have some bond with most of the other bodyguards and some of the staff.

Currently, he works between a number of wealthy families as well as a number of mob families as a contracted bodyguard.
